    Reflecting & Bucket Lists

    in Covid Travel

I've been so wanderlusty durning the pandemic that I've actually made my first travel bucket list (rather than just the long-running list of all the places I'd like to visit). Having all this time being in one place has made me really reflect on my travels and on what I'm most yearning to do when it's safe to travel again. This is what I have so far!

    1. Safari in the Maasai Mara

    2. Trekking in the Himalayas

    3. Biking around Angkor Wat complex

    4. See bioluminescent plankton

Where are you all hoping to go when you can? Do you have any travel bucket list items?

Definitely the first thing I'll do is going to the nearest beach and go diving, I'm a sea loving person who lives trapped in the Andes ahahha! For the next summer I'm thinking:

    1. Cartagena the Indias to Faro Punta Gallinas -northest point in latinoamerica- as Christianne suggested.

    2. Ecuador: Galápagos and amazonía as highlight spots.

    3. Florianápolis Island in Brasil.

But the truth is my dream bucket list is visit ALL latinoamérica one day hahah. But I keep those in mind for next year for sure!

So many good ones! I've been told that the best way to visit the Galápagos is to walk around the tour companies in la mariscal neighborhood in Quito and see who has spots left over for tours leaving the next day for half the regular price. My friend did that and got on a 6-day $4000 tour for $2000 - still expensive, but definitely better than full price haha
